Worshipful Brother Wolfgang J Mann Takes the Helm

WBro Stefan Cink, in post as Installing Master, did an excellent job of placing WBro Wolfgang J Mann into King Solomons Chair in the East.
The day started bright and early with Brethren setting up the Lodge with breakfast refreshments for those long distant travellers and obviously getting the Temple ready for The Rose of Minden’s main event of the year, the installation of Wolfgang J Mann as Worshipful Master.
As the visitors steadily arrived, many of those Brethren who had a main part in the day’s events were busy rehearsing under the expert instruction of WBro Roy Charles, undoubtably one of the best Director of Ceremonies to have graced the Lodges halls. In his usual calm & collected manner he guided, instructed and reassured the unsure & nervous so that when the time came all those taking part gave an outstanding performance.
It must also be noted that the main speaking parts were carried out by our German members who recited their passages almost perfectly even though English is not their native tongue, and a huge thanks goes out to them and their efforts in making the day go so well.
Most Worshipful Grand Master of GLBFG MWBro Gary Wormald and a large entourage of Grand Lodge members were also in attendance, giving the day that added extra special feeling in honouring WBro Wolfgangs taking post in the East.
As mentioned above, the hard work of all members, notably the Director of Ceremonies, the Installing Master, the Installing Board, the presentation of the Working Tools in all three degrees and the perambulations all lead to the ceremony running smoothly. WBro Wolfgang installed his officers in an excellent manner who are all looking forward to working with him over the coming year.
The day ended with a wonderful Festive Board & Raffle, with many of the prizes being won by a good number of our visitors, which is always good to see.
All in all 50 plus Brothers came together from across Germany to install and celebrate WBRo Wolfgang on his new and well-deserved post as Worshipful Master, they enjoyed great food, a great ceremony, great humour and above all else, great friendship.
More photos coming soon…..
